WHAT WE DO

Amoda group is a pioneer in the Indian mining industry with exposure to more than 12 different mineral concessions across the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Right from exploration activities, we participate in the identification of mineral deposits, acquisition of mining leases through competitive auctions.

We, as a Group, believe in and practice transparency and adhere to all regulatory frameworks proposed by the Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) and Directorate General Of Mines Safety (DGMS). Our portfolio of resources covers nearly 100 Mineral concessions across two states for 12 different minerals.

The group has entered into the steel business with the commissioning of the Sponge Iron plant (Amoda Iron & Steel Ltd) in Jaggayyapet, Andhra Pradesh. Jaggayyapet is a growing urban agglomeration located within the Capital Region Development Area (CRDA) in just about 50 Kms from Amaravathi, the new capital of the Andhra Pradesh state. Amoda Iron and Steel Ltd (AISL) was incorporated on 6th November, 2003 with a prime objective to manufacture Sponge Iron. The Integrated Steel Project is also on the anvil. The unit has an installed capacity for the manufacture of 200 TPD of Sponge Iron. Having stabilised the first Sponge Iron manufacturing unit, the group continued its expansion plans by acquisition of M/s Pioneer Tor Steel Mills Ltd, with its two units located at IDA Bollaram near Hyderabad and Chegunta of Medak Dist, Telangana, which manufactures Billets and Construction Steel Bars apart from Sponge Iron.
